Warning: this may be a very stupid question! I was wondering if/how the PCI and IDE channels are related. I know from experience that having a PCI bus speed of 42MHz (for example) can cause the hdd's data to become corrupted but I was wondering why this is the case since the hdd is connected through an IDE connector. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks! |
