Matrox is in Canada, BitBoys are in Finland, ATi have their Research labs in SanJose (close) GigaPixel used to be in SF (closer) and 3DLabs are in the Bay area, too...

In other words, if it is not nVidia, it's gotto be Trident or 3DLabs.
