Hi, I recently bought Tribes 2 and installed it on my Windows XP system. At first the game worked, but now it always either just stops or it gives me an unhandled exception. I read somewhere that this is to be blamed on Windows XP not having the right OpenGL drivers. I have the latest nVidia Detonator drivers for my GeForce 2, isn't this enough? I hope there is an easy solution to this because else I would have to install Windows 98 s.e. on my system, next to Windows XP. Is this possible? Here's my drive layout: hard disk 1 (13.6 GB): C: Windows, documents; E: Music; F: Swap; hard disk 2 (30.0 GB): D: Games. Now, I would imagine that installing to D: would be the easiest, since I have about 6 GB free there. But another problem may be that I converted -everything- to NTFS. Is there any way to reverse this? Oh man, the trouble I'm getting myself into for just a game... |
