FTL

2 IDE devices (one chain)
300Mhz
AC97 codec (I know, but if that's all it's doing)
Dual 10/100 (sure does make loading MP3s easy)
1X5V power is all it needs
I think I found a use for my 30 gig Maxtor

One question though. The NS GX1-300 MHz CPU or GXLV-200 MHz CPU are both X86, right?

I figure load Either DOS or Linux, an MP3 playing prog, simple display adapter drives (if you even bother with non generic drivers) sound, and you've got about 29.9 gigs for MP3s.

It's only 145 x 102mm (says it will fit where a 3.5" HDD will)

As little as $345 plus HDD and LCD monitor (I have one already from when I was going to do this before.) I'd need to drop the $380 to get the TV out though.

Want I should make a writeup about the build and maybe post it here as an article?
(Tony? heh)
