I would get intouch with PNY and tell them the problem. Ask for a Return Authorization. If it is under warranty, ask that they send you a new card. (Most companies will send you a replacement card if you give them a valid credit card number as collateral).
Once the new card comes, send the old card back in the packaging the new card came in and marked with their RMA, (Return Authorization Number), plainly visible on the box. This way, you are not without a card during the process.
Make manufacturers correct their mistakes. The consumer shouldn't be doing their repairs.
