Resistivity (ľohms-cm):

Silver: 1.586
Copper: 1.678
Gold: 2.24
Aluminum: 2.655
---------------------------------------

In other words, silver is the best and copper is behind by >0.01. However, of those four gold does not readily oxidize.

That is why it is often used on audio connectors and such. Oxide films (which are develop rather rapidly on both silver and copper), are a Very Bad Thing in audio apps, where you have analog signals passing back and forth.

The corrosive film makes the connector behave as an in-line capacitor, which in non-EE English means that it acts as a high-pass filter (lower frequencies get attenuated just by passing through the connector).
