I'm running a duel boot clone, (1GHZ AMD), with win98 & winXP Home. I have three log in accounts for the machine. In WinXP, after dialing in and using the internet and having the machine go into the screen saver and later power save, when I go back online, though I appear to connect, I can't get out to anything, including email, web, news server, etc. I must reboot. In Win98, I am fine. My downstairs machine does the same thing in WinXP. Both use Zone Alarm, McAfee antivirus, IPX/SPX networking, IE6, Netscape 6, Eudora 5X.
I tried XP's firewall on and off, quick user switching on and off, zonealarm on and disabled and antivirus on and disabled.
Anyone else with this problem or hear of it?
