I had something like that happen

At a used stuff store I bought a Black Sabbath tape and a pair of car speakers and placed them very far apart on the counter. The checkout woman rang up the speakers and then grabbed the tape, rang it up, and placed it right on top of the speakers. Real swift, there goes one nice tape.
