I got two XP+1700 (1 brown, 1green org. packaging) on a A7M266-D with 512 registered Infineon DDR, and two coppers (1 globalwin,1 Thermalright). I managed to OC it to 140Mhz (stable). Anything above that crashes my system. I would think that with a single CPU, a decent mobo, and non-Registered DDR, your chances of going higher are much better.
Note: Temps of the cores at the time of OC were about 40C-45C, so I don't think it had anything to do with the failure to go above. It's either my DDR stick (single), since registered memory is notorously slow, my CPU core(s) not capable of going past the 140 mark, or a limitation with the mobo bus.
Let us now how it goes for you, plaese.
