If you were I'd have suggested the mobo at the link. Then you could add the HDD, CD-ROM and (eventhough they're expensive as all hell) a 12 V computer grade PS. This way you'd have something which you could tap directly into in order to get the monitor's power. The only problem I see with this method is that you'd have to loop the diplay's cable from the outside back in unless you make an adapter and extend anything that might need an external connector to it. Aslo, the fact that you'd have to hide a VGA to RCA adapter inside the case too, and you're getting a little cramped already. You might even think of using an S370 board along with a Cyrix proc which would drastically reduce both power draw and H/S fan size. You can look at a board by Shuttle here.
