Yup..but he has emailed me. It's a Hewlett Packard machine and he did put the restore disk in.So maybe not heat or ram unless he's got a ton of dust in this machine?

Went to NT Compatible to see what problems arise with the SIMS games...there are a few. The game does require at least DX7 to run.
So many things with the Sims.....agggh!
