SoundBlaster Live! Value PCI (PCI4)

USING: dnetc v2.8015-469-GTR-01051420 for Win32 (Windows 4.10).
(newest release to date)

Before, had Win98SE installed. Running RC5 I got approx 2.9 M Keys/Sec. Same with WinXP.
Now, I am back to Win98SE (for games).

If I am connected, my speed on RC5 drops to approx 0.5 M Keys/Sec. If I benchmark (selected core) I get 3.5 M Keys/Sec, then it goes right back to slow work.

When not connected, it takes 10 - 15 seconds between each "dot" on the "Crunch O Meter".

When connected, it takes 49 seconds.

I have never set it for anything other than "0" in "priority level". It is set for "Dial Up Detection Only" as per normal. Detection of my connection is working fine at all times.
