You would be better off saving your money to get a decent video card & I do not remember what system you are putting a new video card in as like putting a G4 4 would be wasted in a system running around 500 MHz.
To get a decent video card you have to spend around $100 - $200 & this may not include support for all the features that directx 8 can give you. There are only 2 games out now that support these features that I know of but more are on the way & if you wait & save your money up for 6 to 12 months you should be able to get a good deal.
