I have 2 - one configured like you linked to, and one with a front panel that trades one 5 1/4" bay for two 3 1/2" bays (and loses the door). I added a blowhole and 120mm Enermax fan to the second case, and the AXP 1700+ runs about 40 deg C at full load with an Alpha 8045.

If you want a fast IDE hard drive, check out the Western Digital drives with the 8MB buffer. Storagereview.com found they best 10K RPM SCSI drives is some tests, and at least lead ATA drives in the others. My ideal setup would be a Promise SuperTrak hardware RAID controller with a couple 120 GB, 8MB buffer drives. That would only cost about $750 US
