Like Sledge, I play games and watch DVD's on my system. W2K has been great. I've used Creative's software DVD decoder, ATI's DVD player, and Power DVD and all work as they should. The biggest game problem I've had is that I had to download and install the latest Indeo video codecs to get CivII (from 1996) working properly. Also, it's been a piece of cake building my home network with W2K. 3 W2K PC's and a WinME notebook that will soon be running W2K.

I can see no reason for a home use to choose XP over W2K.
