Luck to you Hal......I've been 6 days now with this Video/game issue and finally decided if it wants to run with the damn lighting turned off in the game who am I to argue with it? I know what you mean about updates tho...sometimes you wish you just hadn't been so dilligant. I still have the machine from hell to work on (Sonny's dual boot). 98 works fine on it but XP has way too many issues, but I don't lose the IDE drives, thank God. Decided I'll just fix it with an upgrade......mainboard that is. He can live with the "No I won't print, I'll lock instead" No I refuse to shut down, and so on issues in XP for a couple months or use 98. I've run out of good ideas. Hey he can surf the net and upload his pic's...what more does he want anyway? Yeah I know print them out.............same printer I have, same damn drivers and it locks his computer up and mine works fine. You tell me. |
