Hmmmmm, EMF had a problem installing XP Pro with a GeForce MMX400.......it would hang at the starting windows screen and not finish the install. He pulled the geForce and put in a Radeon and no problems, got the install of XP Pro to go right in. You said you had changed the video card, have you tried installing with your old card in there? IF it goes in ok, that would tell you it's something with the geForce. If not your back looking at an Atapi problem somewhere. (P.S. Toshiba CD-ROms are the best. , Love them, not much out there to beat them) How do you have the burner and DVD hooked up? Hopefully not on the same channel. The DVD won't read right if it's slaved to the Burner. Not sure how Lite On does with a CD-Rom Slaved to it. I have my granddaughters Lite On Burner slaved to the HDD.
And the Toshiba DVD slaved to the second HDD on the secondary.
