Hi folks.

Quick question. I've got the choice of getting the Socket 478 1.8GHz P4 - should I get the old version or the new Northwood version ?

What are the real benefits for me in terms of the 0.13micron technology and 512 KB L2 Advance Transfer Cache over the original's 0.18 micron and 256 KB.

I'll be using my system for video editing and the choice of these 2 is due to cost. If the difference is worthwhile, I'll happily get the Northwood, but if I can save some bucks along the way, I will.
