You can also do it from within XP. Just goto Administrative Tools and click on Computer Management. From the Computer Management menu, Maximize the Storage Folder, and then click on the Disk Management. You will see a display of your hard drive on the right. Right Click on unpartitioned space and choose new Logical Drive. You can also format from this.
