I have an accoustic edge and a rythmic edge Philips sound-card. Both are based on the same chip. (Accoustic has surround, the rythmic is a two channel).
Both had driver issues in XP. I have "un-official" drivers for XP installed. One item of note is a distorted output when I use the auxillary input of the rythmic card.
These are great in-expensive cards. (50 and 35 bucks respectivly). Philips will always be slow to support them though. Win XP caught them with their pants down.
