right...and Supermicro has a quad Xeon board that only costs around $1,800.00. Seems like a lot of the Xeon boards on Ebay are pulls that are missing the VRM's, mounting brackets or something that will require more searching and spending.

I do a lot of multimedia stuff with digital photos and video capture...right now I'm pretty happy with a dual p3 1ghz and the ultra160 scsi I have. I just wish I had a better idea what L2 cache does for your applications...
