Monster 3D II PCI

Built new Athlon 1600XP system with a Gainward
GeForce 2 TI500XP AGP,, problem is the Diamond
Monster 3D is not being seen by the sim s/w,
If I put the tnt card back then everything works,
Has antbody heard of this before, does the 3DFX
cards not work with the newer Direct X or Open GL cards..
Reason I want this to work, I run older racing sims (Nascar3) and the 3DFX at the time was better than the DirectX was, Nascar 4 looks great with
the GeForce card but it is a much newer sim.
Any ideas out there???? I've tried every thing
that I can think of, (Bios, Install sequence,
Win98SE, ME, XP)
