Honestly, I've been looking for ways to rid myself of the floppy drive altogether. The last two format/installs I've done were by booting from the CD, which is just so much faster than doing so from the floppy. Now that I know I can flash the BIOS from the HDD is there even a reason to keep the floppy drive?
