I use NT4 server at my work, and have XP Pro installed on my home computer.
My office computer is on a T1 line, I think, my home computer is hooked up to a 1.5M/512K ADSL.
I want to do the following:
1. remotely wake up my home computer from my work computer (my home computer has both its mobo and NIC wake-on-lan capable)
2. password protect my default XP firewall, have the ability to allow authorized visitor (in this case, me) to either download from or upload into my home computer from work,
3. when all transactions are done, remotely turn off my home computer.
Step 2 is really the most essential part, step1 and step3 are just neat stuff to learn. I'd appreciate if someone with good knowledge of networking can show me the ropes.
