I just don't see a computer using enough power to significantly increase an electric bill. Isn't it the same as running a 200w light bulb, sans the monitor? A hot water heater has got to chew up 100 times what a computer would use. Unless you live in an area where your house heat is produced mainly by natural gas or oil and electricity rates are outrageous.

Then of course, I live in a County in Washington State that has some of the cheapest electric rates in the nation.
