bad ram can drive you nuts, especially when it doesn't give an error right away. Or a slot that's not working right.Not that this is the problem but the old FIC 503+ would not post if the ram was set wrong, but it beeped like mad. He says the ram makes a crunching sound that's loud going into the dimm slots. Might be ok, then again the slots might not be right either. Dumber stuff than that has happened.
