There are several issues though, it needs a new bios release from Asus.
Some manual misprints which are possibly dangerous.
The multiplier overclocking doesn't work with XP cpus unless you set a jumper to the NON-palomino position. Strange things like that.
Also you can't disable the promise controller, unless you upgrade the bios.
I'm using the 1005beta015E rev, in which you can do this.
Otherwise, seems to be a very good board. I am used to Abits implementations so it's taking a little time to get the hang of it. Very stable, except a few quirks with Asus' drivers.
The onboard sound is OK, 5.1 if you want, but you need some Asus apps to run it, which is annoying if you're like me and hate having background programs running.
