Well I picked up the AK31 V3.1 and a Athlon 1600XP today. Everything is going really fast and well.
However I have a question:
Do I need the CNR modem header made for this board or can I use one from another board such as a Amptron K7-810LMTR?
Or should I just go out and purchase a PCI modem?
If I can use the Amptron riser, do I need the drivers for it or are these intergrated into the motherboard?
My old modem was an ISA (phone cables are bad in this area, so it wasn't a factor, but no ISA slots on the new board and not too familiar with the CNR equipment.
Thanks.
PS: Operation Flashpoint game has a CPU benchmark area. My benchmark tripled from my P3 800E
