You may have hit on something there Bob, as this Micro ATX power connector has 12 pegs in a single line, whereas ATX should have 20 pegs in 2 rows of 10.

Now is that what a MATX should look like or does that mean its a So7 legacy PSU ?

On the question of whether the voltage is acceptable, I could just wire it up to the right plug, but if the voltage is out I need a new one.

Output is

+5v 22A
-5v 0.5A
+12v 9.5A
-12v 0.5A

which looks pretty like a normal PSU to me but I dont know squat about PSUs !

Wiring them together sounds like fun but there is no room for 2 PSUs in this build so I would have to get a new one if I cant figure out how to use the old one on its own.
