Don't really know yet - but I HATE Creative

The only reason I got the Audigy is so I could use the LiveDrive IR from my SBLIVE 5.1 Pt card with it and keep the remote function. When I try to install RemoteWare from the Live CD, the software automatically installs Live drivers. So far I can't get the system to recognize the LiveDrive is connected to the Audigy. I'm making a copy of the Audigy CD and putting the RemoteWare files on it hoping that the Audigy installer will see them and let me install them.

I lost count of how many times I've cleared Creative Spyware ("News") and Creative We Sell Your Personal Information ("Product Registration") off my system while I've been working on this. I'm so disgusted I'm considering cutting my losses and getting a Hercules GameTheater. Creative may make good hardware (emphasis on "may") but their drivers/software are the absolute worst I've ever seen. They need to get the marketing weasels the hell out of their software development department.
