For WinXP, I would only install it on machines that are no more than a year to a year and a half old. Must have 500 or better mhz chip and minimum of 128 RAM. On the upgrade disk, run the compatability program first. If you tried to install over-top of Win98 or, (god forbid, ME), don't. Try a clean install and see what happens. |
