Not sure about that, I had 2 MPs that were diagnosed with hairline cracks after sending them back as DOAs. The HSFs were my favorite NengTYIs which, after modding the clips hardly exerted any pressure on the die, just enough to squeeze the pads. There were a few problems with those at AMD, is what I hear, though. Nothing serious, just enough to cause some trouble ... |
