Alright guys what is the problem?! I have been buying IBM hard drives for 4 years now, and have encountered some major unreliablity with my new 60GB 7200RPM GXP Drive. Ever since installing this hard drive in my Athlon 1.5GHz the machine has responded really slowly, all because the hard drive is making "clunking noises" and giving me "Error reading drive C:" in windows. Its almost like the read right arm is damaged. To remind you this is a brand new drive about a month old. Are other users having the same problem as me? I can't even run winamp and search the web without having a drive c: error. I'm very dissapointed in IBM and this will probably be the last drive I ever buy from them. Also does anyone know of a site called "funchina.126.com"? Somehow it keep loading up in my browser on startup even tho its not set as my homepage? |
