When I got my first car (70' 383cu in Dodge Charger) back in 82-83, 8 tracks were out, but I do remember having a few Van Halen and Zepplin tapes before that. Our small farm truck had a 8 track, but it was for the Kingston trio, Osmond brothers I just had a home stereo with really big black CDs in the 70s! . Disco really screwed things up about that time.
First computer I really remember was a Texas Instruments something or other that hooked up through the TV. Kinda like a big calculator. First "REAL" computer was a PB multimedia 486/66 with a huge 720Mb hard Drive that I know I'd never fill up. Do remember working on the college computers with monocrome monitors that had no hard drives and almost no RAM. Was it something like 1MB?
