No idea why. I was interested in the same setup. Did a little looking around and found 4 out of 5 had bad results OCing... the other had good results. Go figure. They all seemed to have the same setup. No super case cooling or anything. If you dont want to overclock then this should work out great. Thean again any AMD recommended fan would work. Almost all the ones they recomend are quiet. The coolermaster line hasnt done me worng yet and their damn quiet and cheap to boot.
