So, can I Ghost my computer (whole disk or part by part), format HD, and reinstall?
The image only includes data, not empty space, right?
Would the whole disk image reformat the disk, creating partitions matching the original, AND put in the same formatting?

And, if I image parts only, can I format the HD and use the XP CD ROM to format a part as NTFS? Or would putting a NTFS IMAGE onto an unformatted part make the whole thing NTFS?

My confusion is this: I use ghost with FAT32 no problem. Store images on another HD, play around with the main one. When done, reformat/repart as 32, and put image back. Can I format a new part as NTFS WITHOUT running XP setup? It starts installing as soon as the format is done.
