If I go a bit above what I was planning and buy the Promedia 5.1 speakers, is it going to work perfectly with the SB Live or do I need another sound card? What are my other options when it comes to speakers? (I prefer a 5.1 set)

With the graphics card, is it possible to have a game that will only work on the GeForce 3 and not the ATI RADEON? And which card should I buy, the ATI RADEON 8500 or the Leadtek WinFast GeForce 3 Titanium 500 TD? As I said I want quality over speed but I want to be able to play all the latest games now and in about a year's time (I don't want to need to upgrade too soon) I prefer to play them at 1024x768 or above.

The Shuttle AK31 Rev 3 sounds like a very nice motherboard, but what are my other options, which is the fastest motherboard with no built in sound? How about Iwill, Abit, Asus, Epox? And if I did go with the Shuttle AK31 Rev 3 could I have any problems with the sound if I disable the built in sound?
