Its a little messy - but you guys are probably used to that....
Mobo=BXmaster with 2xATA66 ports and 2xstd IDE ports.
I've got a 15G on ATA66_1 partitioned in 5 parts for my OS and Swap Proggies Win2000 dual boot etc

Ive got 2x15G GXPs stripped on a 2 resistor moded Promise ATA66 card D:
Now I bought these two Seagate340016A 40GB's to stripe on my new system RAID (mobo or PCI - not sure yet) but havnt got the other bits yet. So I tried to fire one up on my current config.
Installed on mobos ATA66_2 and fdisked it to secondary partition without a primary....when I reboot to a: - no drive letter to format - drive isnt seen.
When I booted into Windows98SE - major crash in explorer module.
Any ideas? Some probs I've had previously is that all my drives and hence proggies - slip a drive letter and Winders cant find them....
