I know that the V5500 drivers are 8 months old (January 2001 final release), but the MX was never supposed to be a V5 killer.
I'm just impressed to see a $50 video card eat a $100 card for lunch.
Not to mention the fact that the MX is only 1/4 the size of the V5500 and it has no active cooling.
NVidia had their shit together, 3Dfx didn't.
