hey guys. i finally got my VP6 to post using a pci video card. unfortunately, the computer restarts as soon as the floppy is reading the boot disk so i cannot install my OS. some weird things that have been going on are that when i put in the second cpu, the board will not post. also using my geforce 2 pro(agp) will not post either when i use it. the only card in the board is the pci vga card. i plan on running dual 750's with raid yet i cannot even get the os installed. two western dig. cav. 20 gigs are in but just one is installed right now working. the ram is two dimms of mushkin 256 rev 3+. what im not understanding is why the sytem restarts in the middle of booting up. could it be the power supply? its a 350w. i cant think of anything else. please help. im running out of time for building this pc for my friend and its gotten to be a real pain in the ass. well thanks for reading and GO USA!! |
