Noticed (finally) the "gun toting", "monosylabic" Bush has gone from "we will fight them on the beaches" to "you are now safe to fly"....and most references to WAR have been deleted from telecasts.

I was also bemused by his "we have the best intelligence in the world" comment at the CIA address. If that's it and "known" labeled terrorists can still get on planes and commit hare-curry on thousands of innocent people, what hope is there for you guys...

Again my heart felt thoughts to all those directly affected by the bombings, but it's always bemused me as to why the President came up fighting when that has never been a "real solution", only a vengeful one. Its not election time so why the great "chest beating" by the leader of the worlds 2nd greatest super power*. I can only presume he saw himself and his comments as an essential element in the grieving process of those thousands affected directly and all Americans indirectly (many who disagree).

I also cant understand how it is so easy to commit and be confident $200Billion will cure Terrorism when the same amount budgeted annually wont cure Crime! If you cant beat crime in your own street – how can you expect to fix “Terrorism” established in other countries.

I hope the perpetrators..."are brought to justice", just not in the OK Coral. I can also only hope that this latest "toned down" line will save 7.6Million innocent Afgahnis from more panic/stress and more importantly more starvation.

All respects...Celstk
