I have the day off, so I played a little Baldur's Gate 2 before I went to lunch with a buddy. I paused the game when I left, but I came back to see a bluescreen. I reset the system and left the room. I came back to see my normal desktop, but I happened to glance down at the corner where CPUCool reports my CPU temp. 84 deg C!!! At first I thought it had switched to deg. F so I reached down to touch my waterblock and almost burned my fingers. My damn waterpump quit.

So, after an emergency trip to my local hardware store I replaced the old 170 gallon/hr pump with a 300 gallon/hr and I'm now sitting at 35 C. Unfortunately the new pump is quite a bit louder, so I might have to move around my tub.

Just a cautionary tale for the watercoolers here...
