With the Pioneer DVR-A03 etc out now things are getting even more confusing over th battel for DVDRW supremacy.
No proliferation of them down here yet. In Australia the Hitachi DVD-RAM's are still in the US$500 range with media at about US$30/4.7GB, although I think you can get a 9.4G as well....
I was looking at also getting an accompanying Panasonic 8357b which can read DVDRAM media or the Hitachi7500...these will transplant to my SAMPO/OMNI setop box.
