It is only usefull if the HDD's can use this If You have 1 HDD with a maximal transfere of e.g. 20MB/s UDMA 33 is enough .. if u have 2HDD 20MB/S each = 40MB/s UDMA-66 would be better

got the point ?!

So I am sure your IBM won't get more than 66MB/s
and even if it would be the difference is minimal

btw IBM HDD's ROCK !!!!!
