I've used both the All-In-Wonder Radeon and GF3 for DVD under W2K, and I'd say with a 1.4 GHz T-bird you shouldn't shy away from an nVidia card based on DVD performance. If your system will primarily be for DVD or if, for some reason, you plan to multitask while watching a DVD, then the Radeon or a dedicated decoder would be the way to go. If you don't already have DVD software that might be another mark in favor of the Radeon (just make sure you get the software with the card). |
