Well I have the first of 3 boxes up and running and am typing on it right now. Other than I am, for some unknown reason, having difficulties getting the onboard sound to work properly with the supplied driver.

I went with the $63 ECS K7S5A that has onboard sound and 10/100 lan. I was going to go with the Shuttle AK31 but could not find a vendor who had one that I could find the rest of the parts I wanted for the price. I purchased the parts from newegg.com and have been very happy with them both times I have orderd from them.

Systems are:

W2K Pro
1GHz Tbird
40GB IBM HDD
12x10x32 LightOn burner
Generic 32mb TNT2
256mb DDR Kingston (only brand newegg offerd)
Stupid floppy
300W PS/case

Total price was around $500 and I think very reasonable.

Does anyone see any potential problems/limitations with this setup?
