PIV1.5GHz or Athlon1.4GHz Hlp Pls

I mainly want it for Video editing - so stability will limit me to 150MHz FSB and 300MHz RAM but 2.5,3,3 (CAS:tRCD:tRP) would be desired at that speed for the PC2100 - hence the name brands.

So as far as benches go - how much of a performance hit will I have to endure with the PIV.
Is there any chances of overclocking a PIV - say even 10%?

Up until now I have been considering The Athlon - and possibly even waiting for the Palamino with the extra SSE set to bring it into line with the PIV, but with the present price reductions - I see the tide might be turning.
