Yes and no. Yes, it was overclocked, but not under NT. Incidentally the initial crash occurred while shutting down NT, after running only 2D for a half hour.

Second, before overclocking it (VisionTek board, bare chip) I installed a BlueOrb with a thin layer of heatsink compound. The chip was not overheating.

Third, it had been running at 200 core/200 memory for almost a year, and it never locked up and didn't have display problems in 3D.

Fourth, this is the first card I have EVER lost. My original TNT board is still running (now in my PII) after three years, and my Voodoo3 3000 is still fine after two (in spite of running hot enough to cook a stir-fry meal for six people, even WITH a large fan added ).
