600 is possible on your processor, but rare. Try it if you like, so long as your cooling is good the CPU stands no particular risk, but bare in mind that at this point, your are going to see little (if any) discernable real-world performance increase.

K6-2 multipliers are not locked.

Your primary success will be found in increasing the bus speed, which you have already done. Don't trust Sandra numbers as a final reference, by the way. They can sometimes be good for comparative analysis but the proof is found in careful applications benchmarking.
