Blonde or brunnette?

Selecting my next DDR motherboard is harder than choosing a girlfriend. I am really choked in making a decision between the different chipsets. There is the AMD 761 and the VIA 266? The AMD 761 is faster but the new ASUS A7V266 carries a Via chipset. AMD 761 motherboards have deficiencies like limited overclocking capabilities like the Gigabyte 7DXR. Acc. to the product evaluation by some article I read the SIS chipset is the fastest but very few motherboard uses it. I just put MSI Ak31 top of my list but the thread below says it has a problem too. I know they are all good but I want the best. What would you select as your next DDR motherboard?
